Hey hon! 👋
It's the big one — Fourth of July weekend in Baltimore, and the city is lighting up (literally). Whether you want harbor fireworks, a waterfront festival with a drone show, or a low-key flea market morning before the celebrations start, we've got your weekend mapped out.
Let's get into it. 🎆
🎆 THE BIG ONE: Inner Harbor Fourth of July Celebration — FREE
📍 Inner Harbor Promenade, Downtown Baltimore
🗓 Saturday, July 4 | 1 pm – 10 pm | FREE
The Inner Harbor throws one of the best free Fourth of July shows on the East Coast. Live music runs 4–9:30 pm from the Navy Band Commodores, the BSO, and Wordsmith, and fireworks launch from a barge between Point Park and Domino Sugar starting at 9 pm — Federal Hill and the Inner Harbor promenade are the sweet spots for viewing.
🎨 Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival — FREE
📍 Middle Branch Park, Cherry Hill
🗓 Saturday, July 4 | FREE
Skyline views, arts & crafts, a children's village, and historical reenactments all day — then a drone show lights up the sky at 9 pm, organized with youth from the Youth Resiliency Institute. West Covington Park is a solid overflow spot if Middle Branch gets packed.
🎇 Baltimore County Fireworks Roundup — FREE
🗓 Saturday, July 4 | FREE
Towson — fireworks around 9:10 pm
Dundalk Heritage Fair — fireworks around 9:15 pm
Fullerton — fireworks around 9:15 pm
Catonsville High School — fireworks around 9:15 pm
🚗 Worth the drive: Glen Burnie & Havre de Grace
Bring blankets and chairs to Sawmill Creek Park in Glen Burnie on Friday, July 3 at 9 pm (overflow viewing at 3rd Avenue Park). Or head up to Concord Point Park in Havre de Grace on Sunday, July 5 — the Maryland Military Band kicks off at 7:30 pm before fireworks over the Susquehanna at 9:15 pm.
🛍️ FLEA MARKET OPEN THIS WEEKEND
Patapsco Flea Market — 1400 W. Patapsco Ave. Open Sat & Sun, 9 am – 5 pm. One of the largest indoor flea markets on the East Coast — cash, comfy shoes, open mind. ✅
🗺️ BUILD YOUR PERFECT JULY 4TH:
Time | Where to Be |
|---|---|
Morning | Patapsco Flea Market |
Afternoon | Beat the heat, then head downtown |
4–9:30 pm | Live music at the Inner Harbor |
